1966/67 I was an advisor to the 36th Vietnamese Ranger Bn. and we had one similar to the pictures, and I believe a Japanese jeep type vehicle , too. However, being a "resourceful ranger" nailed an M-151 right in front of MACV hqts, and later an M-37 with blown head gasket that we drove anyway, anywhere, anytime.
