I am Instrastate cause I work mainly in Washington but if I want to drive further than 100 miles one way from home then I have to keep driving logs and time sheets while working. If I just wanted to drive the truck for personal reasons I still need a CDL, Medical Card, Tanker & Air Brake Endorsements, Drug Tests, Tonage Fees and a DOT Inspection each year. I just would not have to do the Driving Logs, Most FMCSA Regulations would not apply, Comercial Insurance Name on truck ect. Mark H.
