I had a chance to drive that red 68 WM300 in the film when I went to visit Hamad back in 1988. The truck had only 2,000 original miles and he had rescued it from certain destruction. The truck was the most original and complete PW I have ever seen and had been garaged all of its life by one of Hamads Uncles. I drove it down on the beach on the Persian Gulf. Also had a chance to drive that big Kenworth oilfield truck too that you see pulling the world globe, it is actually a mobile house trailer. He owns a number of beautifully restored Power Wagons.
