I thought you interested in the alaska war would also be interested in the Japanese attacks on the wesr coast ans the balloon bombs.The book Retaliation by Bert Webber Oregon State University Press. Has the story of my Aunt Elsye Mitchell and five of her sunday school children findind a bomb and being killed near Bly Oregon in May 1945. My mother Elyse sister has collected many facts and shared many recolections over the years.
