Why cant I link a picture

Over the weekend my windows crashed. Before I reloaded windows, I installed a larger hard drive. Then loaded Windows XP Pro and recovered from my CD's.

Now when trying to post a picture from my Image Event Site all I get is the Red X of Death. Yet I can right click on the picture and see it. Any Ideas ?
