Guys, there were a number of different military vehicles that were crated for oversees shipment, so this is not unusual. There is a group of 1945 Studebaker US6 6x6 trucks that were purchased through a farmers group that were purchased in the crate off the docks in Portland OR. Jim Grunke at Military Trucks in Weiser ID has purchased close to a dozen Stude trucks over the years and they are all with in a 100 in serial number and in fact two that came off the same farm were consecutive and according to the elderly farmer these two trucks were in the same crate. I'm sure that there were some Dodges crated too, and who knows there maybe one in a barn someplace. Howard in Idaho
