Hey All DC was nice enough to respond with...

all trans and pto may have a difference between the gears and cases, so back lash must be check to know how many gasket will be needed about .008 + or - .002 is what you want end up with .I start with (3) .010 gaskets and go from there, QUESTION IS...

If I start with .030 in gaskets, how do I adjust the PTO gear backlash so it is down to .008 or less ? How do I measure it ?
