After much thought, i've decided to upgrade the axles on my "custom" power wagon that i'm building. Many of you on here mentioned that the axle shafts will frequently break when you upgrade to a V8 (mine's a 360), and the split rims are definately limiting my choices for what tires are available (i was on GL.com nonstop looking for some good Michelin xzls).
So my question now becomes: what 3/4 ton or 1 ton axles are the best for swapping into the truck? i know that the frame is really narrow, and obviously i can't have a front axle with coil springs....but besides that, i'm wondering what y'all think is the best choice...
