rebuilding steering knuckles, what's your opinion?

Getting ready to rebuild Dave(in NH)'s front end on his B-1 and he ordered the bronze bushing for the top steering pin instead of the bearing conversion such as Paul(in NY) did. I have a pile of parts waiting to go into my truck (WM-300) but figured I'd practice on his first, ha ha. I ordered the bearing conversion kit for mine and feel this is the way to go. Any proof in the pudding out there?? Thanks,
