Hi all,
I posted my cold deisel starting problems on the last forum.
Here is a piece of advice that I got the other day from a 1996 F-350 owner.
Spray some Quick Start in the air filter and start it up.
I am concerned about this idea.
What damage if any can that cause???
I am looking at possibly changing the Glow plug relay, and maybe the glow plug themselves.
As I mentioned, when warm, no problem. When cold tooooo many tries and sometimes it does not start at all till after 2 hours plugged in.
I will also check out Power
Diesel additive. But, if it is not ready to start normally, CAN the additive harm the motor like the Quick Start can????????
Thank for your thoughts.
