arthur- you have a complicated move (requires a powered lowboy trailer to complete). that really narrows the field of viable carriers going in that direction. call the guys at horseless carriage in nj. the owner, frank malatesta is a truck collector and while he might not want to do your move - he carries vehicles in enclosed trailers - the m35 is too big - he should be able to point you to someone in the ahts who can assist.
being in the trucking business myself, i can only say that costs are out of hand and your offer of $2.oo per mile might be low for the move you need to do. have you considered rail?? would the jeep fit in the bed of the m35??
