On a tip from my father-in-law, I went to look at a Power Wagon located near downtown Albuquerque. The truck was kind of hidden behind some weeds and sat in front of a small business.
It had NO paint left on it, the body was fairly straight, the chrome badging was there, the bed was in good shape, no tailgate, it would make an excellent parts truck. I asked one of the employees if it might be for sale. I was told that the owners have been asked several times to sell it, but it was "art" and it was NOT for sale.
What a waste was a perfectly good truck. Sometimes I don't understand these new-age artsy people...
