My 42 Carryall (WC-53) came to me with an Industrial 218.
Since it was in good shape I decided to keep it and rebuild.
I found the Cam to be the same as the new one from Vintage. The
manifold were correct WC parts and were likely swapped from the
original engine. The one thing significantly different is the oil
pressure by-pass. There was no spring or piston in the block,
only the plug. The filter housing was in place but no oil gets to it.
This engine apparently did not originally have an oil filter.
Casting date is early '41 as I recall. It was painted Yellow
suggesting it started life in a fork truck or pump or such.
