They might be about one size too big. They'll turn 2800 rpm at 60 mph, but have a lot of rolling resistance due to the tread and the bias ply design. they may rub a bit on turns and articulation and of course will be a bear to turn. They are of course out of the question with 4.89s unless you have a V8 or diesel. With a good strong flathead, 42" Swampers will perform much better, and not rub probably at all on fenders or springs. They should fit well on 9.75" wheels; the 44s will mount better on 12s.
