Is it possible to replace a big end bearing without pulling the engine?

I have a 66 WM300 with a 251 that needs a new connecting rod to crank bearing (I hope that's all) for the number 2 piston. I would like to avoid pulling the engine. Is there way to remove the oil pan and get access to this bearing without pulling the engine? Perhaps undoing the engine mounts and lifting it??

Any suggestions will be helpful.
