Alan is right. Although you MAY have some engine wear, DO NOT BELIEVE your guage, NO.1. These guages are about as accurate as trying to time an egg with a sundial. Check it with a manual guage when in doubt, and then Only after it has been driven for at least 10 mi. The big thing to remember is- Has the reading changed lately? This is ALL a guage is good for. An engine will run forever on 20-25 lbs. of oil pressure. I personally know of a famous drag motor builder that sets his engines to run at 10-15 lbs.oil pressure. Just watch if your engine starts to change over a period of time. Or the alternitive if you are really concerned is to drop the pan and chek a main and a rod bearing for wear. No magic tricks here. Have a good day!
