Ec--I called Richmond gear themselves and they said it would be about $8000 to produce the tooling and molds. THen the gears themselves could be bought for around $500 per set. If more than 200 sets were ordered at a time, then the price would come down to about $350 (which is what everyone is sellling the 4.89's for. Richmond said they could make me a gear in about any ratio I wanted, but it is very cost prohibitive. Paul Caudell owns the tooling rights on the 4.89s and therefore, Richmond cannot produce them without the consent of Paul. Good luck, EC
