Dan Pinkham in Waxhaw, NC converted a M101 to surge brakes using the lunette assembly w/master cylinder from a M101A2 and a set of Helitool disc brakes.

Since the M101 and M101A1 have the same hubs as the M37, bearings, brake shoes, hubs, and rotors are the same. Servicing them is the same as well...
