gas in the oil

I need all of you flat head experts to bail me out again. I'm getting alot of gas in my oil in the 48 B-1. Truck will run GREAT for awhile, then I let it sit for about 2-3 weeks and it runs awful as soon as I start it. I had a problem with water in oil before I wised up and had the head milled, and that cured that. Now this new issue. I have worked with the float extensively and it seems OK, however, I can only run the engine with the choke half out. Even when it is up to temperature (140-160). Thanks for all the help in advance...I am open to anything new to try.
