Yes, parts are scarce. But there is plenty of access to them between here, e-bay, VPW, and dozens of other places.There is no excuse whatsoever for anyone to rob parts from anyone. Usually a kind word and some cash can get you anything you want. I would have charged the guy. If you have his plate, take it to the police NOW. He may be wanted for doing the same to someone else. I think a 220V electric charge to the vehicle may be in order for his return trip....
