The early '55 C-1 trucks had the door post that slanted back from the belt line. Late '55 (April 11, 1955 and up)C-3 trucks had the swept back windshield pillar, as did the '56, also designated C-3. The V-8 in the picture was probably a 259 cid, 169 hp "Power Dome" poly.
