Ah, another tradition bites the dust.
Starting with a block of wood, millions of little boys have known the delight of creation, whether the result was award-winning or not. Some little fellar on Long Island once won the regional championship with a car that was simply the block of wood with wheels.
It was an endeavor much like working on the old barn finds that we read about here. Some turn out beautiful, and capable of travelling into hostile territory, and some just stay homely, and stay home, but get the job done.
Now a spoiled brat can get his parent$ to buy him a ready-to-run car. And the politicians wonder why all the world hates us.
Sorry, It's only 10 o'clock, and I'm in a bad mood already.
