Todd and Tom's comments have refreshed my memory. My '47 has 5/16-24 hhcs screws holding down both the center hump and the floor plates. The same configuration was also found on other early trucks I have owned. The square washers were long gone. The later trucks I have owned (1951-1952ish) had the 5/16 ACME thread hhcs holding down the center hump ONLY. The rest were 5/16-25 hhcs for the floor plates.
