Reassembling the 318 tonite. I had the pistons and crank out so I could take it to the carwash last weekend and flush out the water jacket. You wouldnt believe the muck that came out. Anyway, putting the pistons back in I was checking that the piston rings wers free and in proper alignment I found a few that were locked in with carbon. I managed to remove all of them but one to clean out the grooves and reinstall the rings. Of course one had to break. I really dont want to buy a whole set of rings for just one ring. Has anyone got one compression ring that will fit a 318, Std.? I checked online at a parts distributor and they only sell the full set. Is it possible to buy just one, or enough for 1 piston?
Thanks,
Tim
