I remember the first gas crunch, back in the 70s. Gas was always cheap, then, RIGHT before I got my drivers license, it shot up over a DOLLAR!!

I remember how upset I was!! Gas was always like... about $.40/gal or so most of my teen years... then when I could drive - BAM! It shot up. I missed it by a few months!

Again... the story of my life.
