This is the instructions I included with the top. It is a lot of typing so I just copied it here to show how it went in to give you a idea how I did mine. Mark H.
If it is warmed in the sun it will bend easier when you install it. You need to screw the top front section in first with the trim holding it on the windsheild end. Start by using a awl to line up the middle hole with and start a screw in the holes to the right and left of the center. The first screw is the hardest to do. Do not tighten them till you get most of them in on the front. Then do the same to the rear by shoving up on the bottom of the headliner to form the curve and get the top screws started in the rear window trim working yor way down the sides of the metal trim. You will see a bulge in the bottom section of
the rear window part of the headliner do to the thiness of this section.
It will go away as you screw it down. Allways try to use the awl to line
up the screw holes first. When you cover the headliner you just cut the material to larger than the plastic and spray the adhesive on the smooth side and lay it on the smoothed out material makeing sure it is flat befor you do it. Two people makes it easier to do. Then turn over the plastic and make sure you press it all flat. You then trim the material to about 1 1/2 inches wider then the plastic for folding it around the edge to make it look nice. By cutting some relife cuts and removing some so it dose not over lap itself you can test the folding part befor you spray the adhesive on the edge to make it stick. Make all cuts first then spray one edge at a time and fold it over and flaten it down. If you use a thick material it will not show any glue marks, the thin stuff may if you have globs of spray. You spray a fair amount as you only get one chance at it. Test a peice on the back side if you are not sure how much to use first. The sides go on last to hold the liner in shape. You will see that it over lapes the top some when it goes on and will not need to be screwed to the top peice when you tighten the screws. The little sections are not drilled and you need to either drill it or use the trim to hold it. You may need to drill a hole or two be sure to make a hole in the material first as the drill will wind up the material when you dril. I used a variable speed drill to make the holes and went real slow doing it and barly went thru the plastic so I would not snag the material on the back.
Take your time installing the screws to hold it up and it will look good.
After it is up you can loosen the screws and knotch the rubber trims for the screws on the doors and install the weather stripping easier. I changed the design to eliminate a peice on the rear sides. Mark
