I had a 96 the mongeral year, 318 and automatic four wheel drive. I bought it used it was a repo. serviced the transmission adjusted the bands and now my employee is still driving it. he is 21 the truck now has 121,000 on it and big tires and other kid stuff. 96 is the year before the body style change and they had difrent parts that aren't on the 97s or 95s. wish I kept it. had a vibration due to the aluminum drive shaft had a slight bend. new drive shaft took care of that.
