It sounds like you have the "Bell Crank" 14-14-1? This part is the same whether you use the cable or rod style of hand throttle. From your description, it sounds like you are missing three parts: "Lever Assy" 14-17-1, "Bracket" 14-26-1, and "Clip" 14-26-2. These three parts are unique to setups using the cable style hand throttle. The "Rod" 14-19-2 from the bellcrank to the carburetor dog lever is shown in this image as being straight. It should be the same length as the more common ones with the multi-bends in them. I believe the reason they had to go to the bent version, was to clear the unique lever that was used on the setups with the rod style hand throttle as shown in Todd's image.
I will try to get photos of the cable style bracket, lever, and clip yet today.
