np 542 what's it worth?

i found an np 542 that came out of a 76 chevy c60/70 with a 4-53t detroit . assuming it isn't an o/d ( haven't confirmed yet since the o/d's are so rare i'm assuming it's not)what would a good used take out be worth? would it be a good transplant candidate into a powerwagon? thanks, jim.
