For all you electrical wizards. If my original 6v 1949 FFPW starter motor is still working , and the truck was converted to 12v years ago, (and it starts fine) , then why couldn't I get rid of the 4 8v batteries that run the 32v starter on my cat engine and use 3 12v instead? I hate electricity.
