double drop refers to the spring bearing portions of the frame. its got nothing to do with the double thickness frame. on either end of the m37, the frame rails are higher then the middle. i guess you can say that the middle is dropped on both ends? ill try to post a picture to explain, but you more than likely know what i mean.
