Any 12 volt battery will work.
Alternator shops can sell and install virtually any pulley that you need. Or you can reuse the pulley off the generator.
The ammeter can be used, but the high output will possibly fry the meter. I would suggest leaving the ammeter in the truck, but by-passing it. The leads that pass up to it and back into the engine compartment will be too small for the upgraded amperage.
All other wiring will be OK. You will not need to increase the wire size for normal components, such as lights, etc. In fact, the higher the voltage, the smaller the necessary wire size, to deliver the same energy. That's one of the reasons why the industry went to higher voltage systems: to reduce the amount of copper needed in the harnesses.
