The only way I get spyware is by visiting web sites. It happens a lot. I clean my machine often because of it. I have actually cleaned my machine noting what spyware was deleted. Then I went to the sites that I suspected were givint it to me then closed the application. I did not click on anything or request qnything. I then scaned my computer immediately and bingo the spy ware was back.

Most of the News orgs on the web dump stuff on you for their advertizers.
