I put a 350 cfm Holley performance 2 bbl on both of my truck motors using the original iron intake. I made an adapter plate out of a piece of 1/2" aluminum plate, and used a die grinder on the cast iron manifold to match the intake to the carburetor. It took a few hours, but works great. This set-up on my '65 D-200 gets over 15 mpg highway with 410 gears. In the '66 W-300 it definiely improved the torque. The 350 cfm provides plenty of power up to the 3800 rpm recommended redline.
