I have not laughed that hard yet this year. I know exactly what you mean Arthur. I broke my wrist in a Motocross race back in 1979. Two weeks later, with my forearm in a cast, I made my first visit back to the doctor. The nurse walked in the room and asked if I had been flexing my fingers as I had been instructed. I said yes and proudly demonstrated how I could move my figertips each a whole 1/2" from lock to lock. She proceeded to reach over, grab my arm by the cast, and clutch it in a vice grip between her arm and rib cage. She grabbed my fingers with her other hand and wrenched them backwards. I swear my fingernails touched my forearm. I have never felt such pain. It happened so quick, I didn't even flinch. When she was done stretching my tendons beyond their natural limits, I calmly said, "You know, that REALLY hurt."
Get well soon.
