Was wondering..
I cant keep a large trailer at my house that big enough to haul a full sized 4x4 pickup.
besides the times I would use it would be only ocationaly, not enough to justify owning one, or storing one.
Looking at U-haul trailers, or at least the ones I has seen, they have a weight limit of 4000 lbs on there trailer warning stickers.
Seems kind of low to me, as they are 16ft, dual axle trailers??
in any case, the truck(s) I had in mind to ocasionaly haul weigh around 5000 lbs.
Does anyone know of a rental place (national or local) that rents out trailers stout enough to haul a heavier vehicle, like a PW or other heavier truck?
BTW.. the truck that will pull has a receiver and hitch, with setup for electric brakes.
thanks,
Dave in Dallas area
