Buy a 4x8 of particle board, and some drywall screws. Screw the old harness down, in a big spiral. Duplicate the old wires with new ones- add tape, nails, loose cable ties as need for routing. Add more wires as needed, like back up lights & a pigtail to tranny, turn signals, 3 wire Delco alternator. Switchs from 6v can be reused, but the later light switch is a good up grade. I added a fuse block at the toe board, eliminated the headlight junction blocks at the front frame. Waterproof connectors with low melting point solder. Wrapped it with vinyl tape. I got a download of the OE schematic as well as the 68 WM300- it had colors and gauge if wire on it. Then, I drew my own schematic of the whole schlamozzle. Took me about 6-8 hours, but is like a $600 harness....saved $75/hour? And I thought it was fun too
