Got a freind who has a 1940's era Oshkosh. It is a 4x4 wrecker that is ex-military. He used to use it as his yard truck, but has replaced it with a Pettibone forklift. There is not much info on Oshkosh trucks out there, expecially really old ones like you describe. Good luck in your search.
