One of my dodge books shows that in the late 40's, Dodge used a 331ci, L-head engine, and a 251ci, L-head engine on their big trucks. In 1950, it shows a 337ci, L-head, and a 236ci L-head.
A 413 was used by 53, and a Hemi, by 55.
