Back in 96, we got 30.5 inches in one day. That was the most snow in one day on record for SE Pa. You couldn't buy milk, bread, or eggs for three days after the storm because everybody panicked and bought it all up and the trucks couldn't get in to resupply the stores. I guess everyone had the urge to all have french toast during the storm.
The best though, is to see a garbage truck plowing snow. In a city close to where I used to live you'd see the plow/trash trucks out all the time during snowstorms.
