Maybe I can't write, or what I said was mis-underestimated, let's try it again,
I was not talking about the Michelin's in my original post.
I was refering to the narrow is always better comment by Mark and others.
I was not talking about surface road driving.
I was talking about off-road or no-road performance.
I specifically excluded fresh powder.
I specifically mentioned vehicle weight.
I specifically mentioned driver skill.
I will state again, given a skilled driver, in a vehicle of any weight, with the correct sized and treaded flotation tires, it will perform better in packed or "corn" snow than a vehicle with narrow tires.
Also to prove my point and allay the catty comments about snow experience by Mark, I will take ANY* vehicle on this forum and drive it farther than it's owner can drive it, in snow....= )
