I'm talking about deep packed snow, up to 6 feet of snow, no way you can dig into it in those conditions, you can't push that much in front of the bumper, you have to be on top or go home. Snow and sand is very similar, it's all technique and driver skill. Dullies are terrible off-road because they dig in, we call them trenching machines. Tires only hydro if they have the wrong tread design for the conditions, however I'm wasn't talking about that, I'm refering to driving in deep packed snow off-road. Neither style tire will help you much in 6 feet of powder. Snow packs under the vehicle because the vehicle is NOT on top and will never be on top with skinney tires. Jeepers that put on skinney tires are novice drivers or are using the wrong tread for the wrong conditions.
