1) a bump at the head gasket for a water passage, I don't know what year.
2) Some blocks(Industrial? GI?) have the area around the oil fill pipe milled flat and the pipe bolts on. This would be the most obvious 'proper/improper' difference, if anybody knows....
Old gasket sets used to come with 3 or more different style rear main seals, but I dunno what/where/when, 218? 20? ( an older yet engine- 201?)
