I use Arctic Express in my truck just to be safe. I also have summer fuel in it since I don't drive it in the winter but like to fire it off once in a while during the winter. After that tank is used up in the spring I don't put anymore in. This is what I use;
Power Service Products (PSP) offers Premium Artic Express, formulated to provide better cold-weather operability than blending fuel with kerosene or No. 1 diesel and costs 80% less, says the company. It is said to equal the cold-filter plugging point and pour point obtained with a 50/50 blend of No. 2 and No. 1 diesel fuels. It contains a detergency package to clean injectors for more power and less fuel consumption, as well as a cetane improver. Also available is Arctic Express Diesel Fuel Antigel, which is strictly an antigel without the additives found in the premium product. Mark H.
