230 flathead startup

I'm almost ready to fire up my 230, its been rebuilt and sitting for over 10 years. The engine turns easily with a wrench at the crank. I want to confirm that the best way to pre-lube these engines is with an air pressure vessel. Also should I rotate the engine slowly by hand during this procedure?
