Oh, I have no doubt that some of them may last, it's the law of averages, but while enduring those 300,000 miles, you're getting less power and less fuel economy than a Cummins. gm finally saw the light when they started using a purpose built diesel from Isuzu, the duramax, and even the vastly improved duramax has less power at useable rpm than the Cummins.
