I measured one and the bare transmission housing is 15" long. The mounting surface of the output shaft flange is 3" from the back surface of the tranny, so that makes 18" from the front of the tranny to the front of your driveline. The bell housing is 4" thick from mounting surface to mounting surface (there's a ridge inside it that sticks further forward). The exact measurements may be +/- 1/8" off from this, since I just measured with a tape measure and "eyeballed" it.
