Reliability is an issue of maintenance. if maintained well, its always ready. When I was in White fish Montana in 40 below temps in 1994, the resort trucks were 1994 chevy 1 ton duallys and 1952 M37s. The employees were driving only the 1952 M37s. When I asked why they said "none of those Chevys will start. It's too cold". So i say there is always a reason to have a Power Wagon or its relative around for when things get real bad.
