It was about 50º a couple days ago, we had not yet had a daytime temp below 40º since last winter.
Today, one of those November storms (like what sank the Edmund Fitzgerald) blew in off Lake Michigan and gave us 8-10 inches of snow.
I had put the plow on the PW a month ago but had not checked the battery recently, well it was down, the power to the house had been off for 12 hours due to downed lines so I couldn't even recharge the battery .
I also had not put the boat away or put the snowblower on the tractor....it'd hard to imagine this much snow when you just had a very warm fall. Anyway, I put a blade on the tractor and got things cleaned out a bit.
But I guess winter is here.
