I was concerned about the T-case in my M-37. Stick a thermometer in the fill plug after a hard run. Mine ran about 165F. At 140 you cannot hold your hand on a hot surface very long. Most bearings on equipment will take over 200 easy as long as they are getting sufficient lube.
